nannies who made it to White House Nannies pool, can you share your credentials RSS feed

Hi, I read some posts from seemingly great nannies who nonetheless were not accepted by white House nannies agency. Is there anyone on here who did make it? Can you share your credentials? Are you happy with your jobs? How much do you make? A lot of nannies would appreciate this info.

Honestly I wouldn’t work for them. They offer high rates to pull you in but don’t follow up. They just care about their cut. So many other reputable agencies in the DMV . Whitehouse Nannie’s doesn’t have the best reputation it’s just the name

Where did you read these posts? On here? Can you link any? I've never seen a single post like you describe, and I've been on these forums for more than a decade.

There were 2 posts. I was one of them. I wasn’t a Nanny at the time I applied but wanted to get back into it. I had previously been a Nanny with one family for 2 years and another for 7 years. I had CPR/EMT training, clean drivers lic and car, excellent references, English speaking, legal. WH wouldn’t take me because she said families want people who are currently Nannie’s.

I have 20 years of experience, a degree and a Postpartum doula and they wouldn’t take me either . But then I talked to two people who work for them and they lie about pay.

PP, what do you mean they lie about the pay? The jobs they post seem to pay good rates. If I were their nanny, I would not accept the job below what they advertised!

OP said there were posts raving about WHN. Both/all posts I’ve seen have been negative.

Funny you cannot read fully.

pp is a bit confused, op never said that. She was wondering what credentials the nannies had. Those hired through whn.

I’m a nanny working with temporary division and super happy with White House Nannies agency. I tell them when I’m available, they send me job offers. I negotiate rates with families (usually $30-35/h). I have 15 years of experience, fantastic references. Former au pair. Nothing else.

thanks, PP. No Masters in Education or anything like that? Have you been a nanny for 15 yrs, or worked in centers?

No, I'm not confused.

And then people were telling me about another thread where two people replied saying how much they dislike WHN. I was asking for posts from great nannies who were not accepted by WHN, as OP says they have read.

OP here. I thought those nannies sounded great who said they were not accepted (20 hrs, 7 yrs experience). Then the nanny who responded here said she had 15 yrs experience and great references and was in their temp. pool, so it looks to me that their acceptance is random since nannies with similar experience do not have the same luck. I say luck since their nannies are kind of lucky to be paid so much! I want to be one of them but do not want to waste my time applying since they are so random.

OP, Where did you read those posts from the seemingly great nannies? - NP

Op never saw any such posts. She’s probably a WH agency troll girl trying to drum up a little business for her boss lady. Typical. Good example why hardly anyone likes them.
