Care.com not publishing my feed back

I talked with a women and did not accept the position. She went to my profile and left negative feedback. Now I want to reply her feedback but care.com not allow me to reply her.

I may be wrong on this but I don’t think Care.com allows you to respond to negative comments.

This is par for the course at Care. They basically allow parents who have worked with you or not to leave reviews and will even shut down your profile over it.

About 10 years ago, I had a situation where I booked a babysitting gig, had a good initial call with the parents, but when I showed up they failed to mention the 35 year old uncle also lived there, would be home while I was watching the kids, and couldn't watch the kids himself because he was an alcoholic. I said I wasn't comfortable with the situation and left. They left me a horrible review saying I was unreliable, left them hanging, unprofessional, etc. Care actually shut down my profile over it and I had 20+ 5 star reviews at the time from other families.

As a parent who has used care.com multiple times to find amazing nannies/caregivers, I would tell you that most parents would disregard the review of someone who never worked with the nanny before. I've seen them here and there a few times, and every time it made me think what an unreasonable parent to take the time and write this negative review without personally knowing the nanny. It shows more on their personality so don't be upset. They usually have little to no bearing. Many nannies even have friends leave them reviews so the reviews are not really taken that serious.

Every nanny I considered, I spoke with first on the phone and then in person, and my top two I checked their references.

care is a great place to connect families with nannies, and the most commonly used. Most families use it. After that would be sittercity and this website.
