Rate for a middle school mother’s helper

Hi. I need a middle school kid to come play with one typically-developing 4-year old while I work upstairs. Kid is toilet trained and well-behaved. No medical needs. What would you pay for this, relative to an adult babysitter who’s in the house alone with your kid? (Not currently in the DMV, but looking for how big the difference should be between the going rates, if there should be a gap in compensation.)

Other advice is welcome, but I’m not going to sit him in front of the TV for two hours a day, five days a week. I’m also not going to try to work and watch my kid at the same time. He’s great, but he’s 4.
