What is a fair rate for a nanny share set up with two infants?
Nanny already has experience doing nanny share starting with infants, and has good qualifications for 0-2yo (introducing solids, introducing good sleep habits, etc) |
Location
Years of experience CPR certified Driver English first language Legal to work/US Citizen Hard to answer without knowing the above. |
2 yrs is not a lot of experience. Did she work with the babies prior to these 2 yrs? Experienced nanny make anywhere between $35-42 per hr in the share. |
The location is in DC NW, the nanny is CPR certified, has over 6 years of experience, English is her second language but she is fluent, she drives but no need to drive the kids, legal to work, has other certification/education too |
25-28$ |
She might feel really insulted if you offer her $28, OP. Just ask her how much she would charge. |
$30-$35 an hour. Make sure you clarify with her and the other family what happens if one kid is sick and that family doesn’t her her that day, vacation alignment etc. do both families need exact same hours? |
Nanny here in the same area. I make $33hr for a nanny share with guaranteed hrs, two weeks paid vacation, five sick days and all government holidays |
I get $32 hr/40 hrs guaranteed plus all benefits(health ins, 17 days of PTO, all holidays paid and unlimited sick time) |
...which makes you very cheap, pp. |
$30/35hr |
I get $38 hourly plus full reimbursement of healthcare and all holidays paid. If one of the babies is sick, i still get paid as hours are guaranteed. Any OT is also paid at legal rate.
I don’t use my vehicle to drive the babies(avoid the wear a tear)In contract, i clearly make them write that i wont use my own car for transporting the little ones UNLESS they pay my car insurance premium and mileage reimbursment along with carwash allowance twice a month. They provided a car! Location: Chevy Chase |
