Not expected it a bonus from my employer and they were very generous. They gave me a card last week and i completely forgot to opened it and found the check. So appreciative of their thoughtfulness, but how do I thank them for their generosity? Happy Holidays y’all.

A simple text (if you don’t see them the next day) saying “thank you so much for my gift. Happy holidays!” Will do.

I am a great believer in handwritten thank you notes via US mail. So few people have manners these days.

I’ve done thank you notes in the past and now I do thank you emails.

I think thank you’s should always be handwritten.

A thank you is a thank you be it in person, via text or a handwritten note. I consider receiving a thank you text very good manners.

Email or text works.

Considering it is a work bonus from your employer, then I would say a “Thank You” text or email is perfectly acceptable in your situation.
