They seem to be a new nanny agency for the DMV. Has anyone used them? What has been your experience? Would you recommend? |
never heard of them |
I thought you were desperately in need of a new nanny because your current one quit or was unacceptable.
|
This is probably someone from the agency. They've been in business since March 9, 2022.
Facebook page has two reviews and mostly posts memes and 'inspirational' messages. From the website: "A full-time nanny typically works between 30 and 40 hours per week. We charge a one time, non-refundable placement fee of $1800, that is to be paid by check, seven days prior to nanny’s start date." Most would agree full time is 40+ hours per week. From the website: "Have your nannies received the COVID19 Vaccination? Yes, we ask that all of our nannies follow CDC guidelines. We take COVID19 safety precautions very seriously." Asking is not the same as requiring. |
That is what I also first thought when I saw the title of this thread. |
Never heard of them. but looked at the website and having a bible verse on there is off-putting to me.
I remember reading an insanely long DCUM thread at some point about a Mormon nanny agency in the area and seeing peoples' experience with that really really stuck with me |
Bible verse? Seriously? GTFOH |
Many of their nannies are flaky, in my experience. |
what do you mean by that, pp? |
Just that. |
So, has anyone used them to provide feedback? |
Never heard of them. After looking at the website, the owner has a daughter that is disrespectful, out of control and drug user. I would be cautious using them. Could you trust them selecting appropriate childcare. |
Anyone used them recently? |
Terrible follow through. Nannies aren't vetted properly. But prices sure do rise. |
Um, how do you know this? |
