| Would love your suggestions for some easy kid-friendly lunches. Nanny will have ~30 min of prep time before picking up a 3 year old from morning preschool, so it could involve a bit of cooking if it's something that reheats well. The kid is somewhat of a picky eater in that he won't eat even his favorite foods more than about 2 days in a row, so having a good variety to rotate through would be helpful. Thank you. |

Banza chick pea pasta and pesto, sauce or just olive oil and herbs. Lovely with peas (if your kid eats them) and loaded with iron.
Banza also makes a Mac and cheese. Omelette with avocado and tomatoes. Whole wheat toast triangles. Black beans and brown rice. You can get the rice in 90 second microwave pouches. Spread a rotisserie chicken and add a couple vegetables and barbecue sauce. Laughing cow cheese on whole wheat crackers and soup. Broiled salmon and strawberries in a foil pouch. Greek yogurt parfaits with healthful (low sugar) granola and berries. |
| The above are good suggestions. Grilled cheese, PB&J sandwich, avacado toast, tortellini in whatever sauce they like or mini raviolis, quesadillas, serve with different fruits and/or veggies. |
