I am a seasoned nanny of 14years. I wouldn’t do it for less than $29hr but I’m sure you can find cheaper. It’s all about what you’re looking for. Some Nannie’s have done a few shares and have prior teaching experience ,can pass a background check etc

We now have our own nanny because we have two, but we were in two shares before that, one in 2020, and one late 2021, and both were $12 per family $24 total. First nanny was okay, a bit less experienced, second one was fabulous and amazing, and is now our nanny for our two kids.

There's been some inflation since then, obviously, but that puts you at $13-$14 each (or $26-$28 total) not $30!

It’s a totally different world now, PP. Both inflation and nanny-demand have driven the price up. If OP finds $15/$30 she should consider herself lucky.
