Do you get a review? A raise? An acknowledgment? i have never worked somewhere where there was simply nothing… |
If it’s important to you. Just tell them it’s your one year anniversary and will like a review and a bonus |
Not all employers give reviews or raises at a year. They should but they don’t. You need to ask for both. |
Yeah I am a nanny of over ten years and you might just have to say something. Some are clueless and some just don’t care. I got one raise in 3 years. |
Really? Most employers don't give a yearly raise or give you a party. |
You call a review a party? Employers should (at least) give a cost of living raise every year. Ask for it, OP. Our nanny gets a COL and merit increase every year. It’s in her contract. |
I’ve never had it acknowledged ever. |
Most jobs don't give an annual cola. It may not be in her contract. |
Nobody cares |
We always do one-year contracts, so near the end of the year we discuss things and agree upon a raise. |
You’re right. Nobody cares about you, PP. Sad but true. |
