What is the going rate for a nanny share? We have 2 infants (4 months and 5 months) and live in NW DC.

I would say a gross of $35/hr.

I agree.

As with every single "what's the current rate" post on here, there are factors.

-how many hours per day/per week?
-how many children?
-special needs?
-pets?
-what benefits are being offered?

+1. $30 starting.

I recently started a share with two infants in Arlington. We found the going rate to be around $25/hour. We had nannies ask for anywhere between $20-28 an hour. Not surprising, the more experienced nannies were on the higher end, which was where we landed.

$25 is a one child rate, according to White House nannies, gold standard in the area

OP, just keep in mind that on this board, you are asking a bunch of nannies what the rate is...

My nanny wanted $30 for a share with a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Us and the other family didn't want to pay $30 combined, so we each ended up hiring our own nannies for $21-22. We didn't want to have to do pick-up and drop-off every other week at the share price. We're in the suburbs though.
