I’m terrified our nanny is seriously ill

Our beloved nanny of five years has been tired for over a month and just not herself. Last month she went to the doctor and her blood work was troubling. She was sent to a specialist and had a scam that did show a mass. She’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow.

I love her so much and my kids absolutely adore her. She’s such a wonderful, loving person.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.



(And yes, of course, we are paying her - and will continue to do so - and helping out with meals and cleaning as well as errands. She’s on Medicare and we pay for a good supplemental policy for her so she’s getting excellent healthcare).

I would feel as you do if our nanny was sick. Hugs! But I’m not going to say I’m sorry because I know she’s going to be fine! She’ll be back to you and your kids soon!
