Nanny's who dont own a car RSS feed

I've seen many posts for hiring a nanny to have their own car/ transportation. Many nanny's dont own a car or even know how to drive. Now public transportation is being snubbed. How are metro riders dealing. If an employer has a baby, you're not going anywhere with a baby.

I didn’t have a car at the start of the pandemic. I realized in order to work to pay my rent I would need a car so I bought a car. It’s not hard and I strongly recommend you get one if you want to work

You just need to find the right employer. Some people don't care. Some people are hiring nannies with the plan to have nanny drive to do preschool pick up or activities once life is normal.

Some people feel that way because they are worried about COVID exposure for nanny on public transportation. It is not that public transportation is snubbed, it is just people wanting to protect themselves and their family.

There are for sure enough families who are ok with it and who use it themselves so I am sure you will find a family

I posted in response to this a few days ago.

There are a multitude of ways for nannies without their own personal vehicle to get to work without risking transmission from random people on metro.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of the several vaccines that are easily available if you are worried about public transportation.

??? That's no true. There are always families looking only for Nannies who have their own car. It doesn't matter they have newborns, babies, toddler's or preschool kids. Sometimes the are not playgrounds, libraries etc around by walking distance. And at some point with a "Baby" is growing up you will need to take them to activities or even when they start school. Pick ups and drops off.

This post is not about me. I have been driving since last March until now. I said I know several nannies that don't drive wondering how they get to work, since Covid. I use to see one nanny get off the bus then take the train to get to work.

What are the question Mark's for? I said what I said, go look for yourself to prove me wrong. My employers give me their mini van to drive older kids around to the park.

Libraries and other activities aren't even open. I practice social distancing it's not like years back when age appropriate children could go to museums, music festivals, water parks restaurants etc.

You're in for a rude awakening!

Scientists believe the current vaccines will also protect against the mutated strain of COVID-19 that was first reported in England. However, similar to flu viruses, coronaviruses have a high rate of mutation, meaning they change slightly over time. It’s possible we may need an annual COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to our annual flu shot, to stay protected against mutations. However, because of the way mRNA vaccines are created, scientists can quickly isolate the part of the virus that needs to be recognized by our bodies and produce an effective vaccine.

Even after the 2 Coronavirus shots, a booster shot is going to follow soon. They are going to start jabbing people every year. I already predicted this!

People are more at risk thinking they are immune to contact Corona Virus because they receive these shots. More likely to catch it from risky behavior like gathering socially around friends and family and people they are calling " Within our pod"

I've heard of Gramma caughting the virus going to Bingo not wearing a mask because she thought she knew her so called Pod. Another grandmother passed the Virus to her daughter, and son in law simply because she didnt know her brother had the Virus.
