Masks with nanny

Does anyone wear masks while with their nanny and request that s/he do the same? How about the children? Thanks!

No. I trust our nanny and she trusts us. We only see each other and are all committed to staying safe.

This is not a crazy question so shame on the poster who said that . It is safer for all to wear masks but it is difficult . We talk to our nanny and she sees we are completely social distancing and she does the same . We all only go to the grocery store wearing masks . I know some families where the nanny herself chooses to wear a mask , one family has a pregnant nanny and she wears a mask to protect herself by her own choice . It’s up to you and your nanny to discuss risks and decide .

Nanny here . I wouldn’t be able to wear a mask running around taking care of two infants for 9hrs a day. But to each their own .

No, but I did for the first 3 days I was here (live-in), and I stayed in my area until I had a negative covid test.

Whenever our nanny meets up with friends indoors, she wears a mask for the week afterwards.

This is nuts. Of course not. Our nanny has never brought it up. As a matter of fact our nanny is super warm and snuggly with the kids. Lots of kisses and hugs.

We are all fit people with no comorbidities. That would be really silly to wear a mask with our background.

No masks in our house. We (Parents and nanny) have been part of each others so-called bubble since March. We’re not changing that now.

I wear a mask at work. I’ve had no issues with it.
