If so, why?
(Also, if not - why?) |
I have never been happier as a nanny. Honestly. I’ve been in this position for over 1.5 years and my employers are truly wonderful, intelligent, and honest people. I feel very appreciated, valued, and, most importantly, respected. Even during this pandemic with the father working from home (mother always worked from home) it’s been a very happy work environment. And my toddler charge is brilliant, clever, and adorable!!
I had a very bad experience at the end of my last position so I am even more grateful for this one. |
You should ask nannies why they left their last position. |
I'm very happy with my current position. I'm homeschooling three bright, curious children, and it's a blast! |
You should be more specific of your question. The title it's understandable but your post it's very vague. |
Are you happy in your current position? If you are happy in your current position, why are you happy? If you’re not happy in your current position, why are you not happy. |
Start another thread. That’s a different topic. |
Yes of course.
I’ve never been in a position I’m not happy in. Who needs that. I get to choose who I work for, right there sets it off as a positive situation. My employers hired me because they wanted the best and respect who I am and what I do. I make amazing money and get to spend my day teaching an amazing kid about everything |
I love my job! My employers are fantastic and my charges are sweethearts. I feel very lucky. |
I started a new role mid pandemic, and I am really happy in my new role.
My charge is a sweet little thing, she has a good proper nap, and I get an actual lunch break (so I'm ready to go again when she wakes). The parents and I are on the same page about boundaries and what behaviour is acceptable, and I have enough time in a day/week to do all of the child related tasks, so its not a stressful rush. the parents seem very happy with me and have never yet been late to let me leave in at the end of the day, and seem genuinely happy with how I hand the house back, which is lovely as my last boss seemed very caught up in her own stress and I was always left wondering if she was just stressed or didn't like something I had done. |
