Anyone wearing masks or entire families wearing masks at work?

I’m working with a new family for summer break part time and while I have been FaceTiming a lot and getting to know the family the mother seems a bit lax about everything. The few visits I have had with the kids and family I notice they have neighbors that wear masks while out for walks and the mom talks of still taking 2 of the kids to the stores with her but she has never worn a mask.

Do any of you wear a mask while at work or have families that wear them while you’re home to protect you?

Everyone but the toddler wears a mask whenever we step outside the front door but no one does in the house. My employers are very cautious and stay home as do I.

I couldn’t and wouldn’t work for them otherwise.

PP again. You will easily find a better job with responsible employers right now, OP. Nannies are in high demand. Don’t stay with this family if you feel you are at risk.

Find another job if she is that lax. Kids should not be going to stores and she should be wearing a mask out. If both are isolating and taking it seriously I wouldn't wear a mask at their home but they aren't taking it seriously. You don't need a mask or kids need a mask outside walking.

I wouldn't even consider working for people so lax about their own health because this means they don't give a damn about your health!

I've been working since before the SHTF and have not worn a mask at work.

I care for a 12 month old.

+1. Either the household members leave the room before the visitor comes in or they put on a mask.
