Anyone use ABC Nanny agency? RSS feed

We called them, and the lady I spoke to seemed unstable, pushy, and overzealous with payments.

I did a little digging and found this alarming site: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/995082975913095168.html

Does anyone know if they are legit?

Nope, not interested. I’m with Nannypoppinz l.

They asked for $5000 up front. No meeting, no in person contact. Seems really fishy.

Contact NannyPoppinz. Ask for Susan or Robyn (the best, IMO). Your credit card will be billed for a deposit once your profile is done and you’re ready to start scheduling interviews. You won’t be billed for a nanny placement until after you choose a nanny.

I did. The candidates were not great at all. One took a call during the interview. the other was talking about god this and god that during the interview. another bashed her former employer.

very strange thread, but Beth Stover was pretty rude to me when I told her we have decided to go elsewhere for our childcare needs.

SP. She pretty much went from sugary sweet to full on claws coming out when I told her that we no longer needed their services. I told her that an au pair would better serve our needs and she just basically bashed au pairs and tried to scare me from going in that direction.

I used them and it was a nightmare! The nanny’s they sent were incompetent. I do not recommend.

Talk with/interview a couple of agencies OP.

I am not in DC, but have had a better experience with them than other agencies in the area. They did a good job of marching and didn’t waste anyone’s time, versus other agencies that I’ve dealt with. But again, I’m not in DC I’m also a nanny.

Bump because there is another thread about this lately. This lady who talks to everyone via the agency scares me. Please be weary.

This agency was a very expensive nightmare for my family. Please, please do not trust these people with your children!!!

We used NannyPoppinz. They were terrible. Strongly recommend to stay away.
