Au Pair - Good English Classes RSS feed

Hello: We live in North Arlington. Can you recommend good options for English classes for our au pair? We know about Lado but she is a serious student and really wants to learn. Any options you could recommend?

Lado is pretty good. What’s her concern about Lado?

Second this. One of our APs did Lado. She took it very seriously, was doing all her homework, and her English improved tremendously. Plus, she received some sort of a certificate that helped her with foreign language requirement in her home country.

LADO is the old stand-by, but the classes are hit or miss, depending on the teacher, I guess.

Georgetown has a program that's AP-friendly, I think.

Also in DC, there is International Language Institute (ILI) that one of our APs liked.

Following because we’re looking for English classes for our AP. Also in Arlington and I believe she’ll be going with Lado in January. Apparently they also give a 10% au pair discount? At least that’s what they told me when I called yesterday.
