Highly qualified Au pair was supposed to arrive tomorrow but her host family pulled out at the last second. Since she already has her visa, she can hop on a plane so she is available immediately. CHI is only charging $6300 for the year for her. She has excellent English, drives everyday, 22 years old. Contact me if interested. (301) 412-7478 sarahfraidin@gmail.com |
also shady |
I'm not sure why someone commented shady. I would be happy to share their profiles with you and you can contact the au pairs for interviews as well.

$6300 plus the weekly stipend i assume? Doesnt the agency already have families they have already vetted? |
It’s shady because you don’t give any details about the au pair (age, IQ, country, driving level, etc.). It assumes someone is basing their au pair decision solely on the price, which I think sets both sides up for disaster. Plus, you’re also not clear that the $6300 is the program fee and the host family must pay a weekly stipend on top of that (plus obviously all other expenses). |
Sorry, missed that you did include age and driving level. It still reads shady. |
Sarah - if you are legit, why dont you post that there is an excellent AP availale via CHI and they should contact the agency for details. posting it like a classified ad raises suspicion. |
+1 super shady
CHI is not an agency I would go with because of the vague language removing the minimum stipend amount and then stating HF should be "paying highest applicable minimum wage" without helping HF figure it out. So, sure, $6300 might be the agency fee. But CHI dumps all responsibility and legal ramifications regarding stipend amount on the HF. |
Sorry for the brief post. No offense intended. I couldn't figure out how to post the profile pdf. It is through Cultural Homestay International. That is just the agency fee. The weekly stipend is $195.75. There is also a required maximum $500 for the education costs.I thought if someone was interested , they would contact me and I could give them the rest of the information. It honestly didn't occur to me someone would interpret this as shady!

Really????? That's all that anybody needs to know about your agency.G'bye |
As someone who recently switched to CHI, I have been very happy with ease of contacting au pairs, the diversity of countries represented, and the quality of candidates interviewed. OP's post here is how I first learned about the agency and then did some.research on my own before deciding to switch. |
