Thoughts about moving this forum to the main DCUM Forums section?

I am considering revamping some of the forums in the main DCUM Forums section. One change about which I am thinking is to create a childcare section. Since Au Pairs are definitely part of childcare, this forum would fit well in that section. I would move the existing messages to the main section, so these discussions would not be lost (each topic and post has a numerical id which would have to change, but that shouldn't be noticeable to users).
Is there anyone opposed to this idea? |

I'm not considering moving all of the Nanny Forums, but just the Au Pair forum. I still want to keep the Nanny Search forums and the Nanny discussion topics in their own area. |

Because the nanny search forums, along with the housekeeper forums, amounts to eleven forums. I don't want to increase the number of forums in the main section by eleven. I am really interested in the opinions of people who post in the Au Pair forum about the potential move. I am not considering moving other forums so there is not really a need to discuss other forums. |

| For me it got the be the same amount of clicks. Right now it is 2 clicks to get the the au pair discussion, how many clicks is it going to be after the change? |

I have no idea what you are clicking on, but normally it take one click to get to the DCUM home page, one click to get to the main Nanny Forums home page, and one click to get to the Au Pair forum. After the change, it would be the same except that the second click would take you to the DCUM Forums home page instead of the Nanny Forums home page. |

I wasn’t suggesting you move all of the forums, I was asking what’s unique about the au pair forum that makes you want to move it. Message received - you aren’t interested in my opinion. |

Right now this forum is very slow. For me that’s fine but I bet moving it over will change that.
FWIW with the lawsuits and other program drama I’m not sure it’s a good time to recommend au pairs. |

I started counting my clicks when I already on the DCUM page, so we have the same numbers ?. I am fine with the move! |

| I liked it better when the nanny forum was with the other posts. When we moved to just this forum it was full of trolls and not very helpful comments. Would love it if we could go back! |
