Winter clothing reimbursement

We are in a warm weather state and will be taking a vacation to a ski resort this month. Our nanny will be coming with us. Are we expected to pay for her winter clothes such as ski jackets and snow boots?

These are unexpected, large expenses for clothes she will get very little use out of in the future. |

If you would also be fine paying her to water the plants and take in the mail (assuming guaranteed hours) and either doing without childcare or hiring a sitter, then you offer nanny the choice of coming on the trip with XYZ covered and ABC not covered and she can decide. |
