Here's an example: MB actually asked me to leave the tv on ALL day so her daughter can "get her education in". Using the TV to educate your child instead of doing it yourself is dumb. Lots of American are so dumb when it comes to nutrition but I expect doctors to know better. Everything they feed the child is processed and they don't want me to go through the trouble of making healthy meals. I know I'm going to get flamed for this post but whatever. It's very shocking and concerning.

Dumb? Welcome to a population who know less about what they put into their mouths than they do about, well, take your pick...celebrities or cars or American Idol or iPhones? Animals have the intelligence to know what to eat and to never get fat (except the ones fed by humans). Yet that simple challenge, gaining nourishment without destroying the body, is beyond my Americans capabilities. This is an American thing. Not an MB/DB thing.

My previous employers were academically brilliant. Both were Ivy League undergraduates and one earned a PhD in science while the other went on to medical school and vascular surgery residency. Common sense alluded them. I started with them - part time for a few weeks - before the mother went back to work. The baby was about a month old when the mother noticed that I snapped the bottom of his onsie. She said oh no! Never do that as the urine would wick up the onsie to his chest...

They were snapping the onsie under his diaper...

My employers are very book smart. Both PhD from Yale.

Yet zero common sense. I don’t doubt why they have high income jobs, but I do understand why they need me.

MB once gave the baby a pill box to play with like a bottle.
