| Playground on Newark around 3:30pm... Nanny with the first name that starts with a “G”. Wearing all black, black sunglasses and very over weight. Watching 2 children- 1 boy age 5 and girl age 3. Nanny ignoring kids and kids, especially little girl. Back turned the entire time. Wouldn’t get up to push children on swings and was ignoring the children. If I was paying her to watch my kids pissed. I know the nanny’s name and little girl but won’t post it. |

The "nanny" sounds more like a "warm body".
Parents should learn the difference. You usually get what you pay for. |
| Lol mind your own bussniess woman. Gossip biatch. Its like im gonna tell everybody who your partner is flirting with. Lmao |
| Sucks |
You're very over weight |
+1 Probably one of those bargain nannies the posters are always writing about. "Our nanny is wonderful and is $15 an hour and she loves housework". |
'she loves housework'! Is that her primary responsibility or is she a maid/nanny? and what bearing does this have on the initial post? AND for all those commenting and criticizing nannies based on the anonymous post of someone hiding behind their computer, consider that you have no details, you have no idea what actually transpired and you also cannot generalize and paint all nannies with the same brush. |
| I’d be happy to tell the parents and not hide anonymously but I don’t know the parents. The daughter asked me and another mom to push her. I pushed her since she was next to my child on the swing. I did think for 10 mins. Not once did the nanny turn around or even notice. I’d be pissed if I’ve hired a nanny and my child is asking strangers to push her on the swing and even more upset she isn’t staying closer to my child or engaging with her. |

good for you for reaching out OP.
I used to go to a playground, where there was one particular nanny that i saw more or less regularly who was also like this. She would sit talking on the phone for the hour or so that she would be on the playground with her charge and pretty much ignored the kid. No wiping noses, no pushing swings, no reaction when the kid puts sand in her mouth, etc... On one of the days, her charge wandered outside of the play area, and someone else's nanny ran after him and brought child back. |
What's wrong with you?? Next time you immediately call 911 to report this sort of thing. |

I am a nanny and this is appalling. I would tell the MB.
A few years ago there was a nanny who used to walk twin girl's in our neighborhood and leave them in the stroller while she sat on a low wall and used her phone. I used to walk my charge at the same time so I figured out that the nanny was getting just far enough from the apartment building where the MB couldn't see her and park her ass for a good hour. The twines would cry, ask for her attention, etc but the nanny wouldn't respond. So the first time I saw the MB with the twins, I told her about her nanny. Nannies like that give us all a bad name. I have no trouble at all reporting them. |

Nanny here. OP, you are right for writing this post.
Any mom should know about how her kids are treated. Thank you OP. |
Call 911 and say what? Jesus, no this nanny is not stellar by any means but her actions are hardly criminal. OP, either open your mouth and say something or get a life and stop stirring up anonymous drama. |
FYI, child neglect is actually criminal. I would have at least made sure the parents knew about the incidents. |
Not watching children for 5 minutes at the park is not neglect and to call it such is grossly minimizes the experiences of children who are TRULY neglected. Do not waste the police and CPS's time. It's selfish. |
