Pay increase

Hi,
I am working with a family almost year. I do tasks that is not my responsibility. I want to talk with them to increase my pay. I don't think what I am making now is enough for what I am doing. Can I say them to increase my pay $5 ? There is not any benefit at my work. Thanks |

| You can ask but I have never heard of any nanny getting a $5 an hour raise. Generally the pay increase is just $1 or $2 an hour. |
