cultural care health insurance vs standard travel insurance like Bupa Insurance

Has anyone's au pair used the health insurance through Cultural Care yet? I believe it is an Aetna plan through Erika travel insurance.
My next au pair has a boss who travels significantly and suggested Bupa travel insurance. I know nothing about the CC plan, nor the Bupa plan. I wasn't sure if anyone had any insight. Thanks. |

| My au pair refused to pay for it her second year because it was so useless the first year. It is terrible coverage. |

| Our au pairs always take the extra "sport" insurance, and it has worked great. They have been able to see a doctor for minor things (broken toe, urinary tract infection, etc) with only $35 co-pay. For major things (torn ACL), the insurance paid for x rays, MRI, doctor evals and then sent AP home with an escort for surgery at home. Sport upgrade is definitely hte way to go. |

| That's good to know. I know the sports insurance is expensive. I think our next au pair was contemplating alternative insurance. I'm just nervous about giving suggestions. |
