I watch a 2 yr old boy. I charge $8 an hour because I do it at my house and I want to make some extra money. I noticed since last week his pee area was red (rashes) and I told the mom. My suggestion to the mom is take him to see the doctor, get him rashes cream, change his diapers every hour or let him naked at home.

Today (8 days after I last see the boy) the rashes is still there! Funny is she now telling me to change the boy diapers every hour and to let the boy naked for few times while he at my place! I told the mom that I cannot do that. I am not comfortable with it -> "naked boy" also I not going to let the boy pee on my wood floor. I gave her a hint that this rashes is not new it was there since last week. I also mentioned to her that she need to take care of her son too! Today his finger nails is so long. Both ears are dirty!

She is in process to find a live in nanny. She said 'nanny nowadays will ask more money whenever she ask them to do something i.e wash the dishes, potty train her son or stay a bit late. I might do that too! charge her more!

Now you're just being mean. You're going to let the little boy be uncomfortable and later in pain because you don't want to change his diaper more? Daycares do that. My nanny does that (change every hour and put special cream on etc) because she cares about the comfort of my child. You just wanted extra money and not actually look after the child.

So put him in training pants so he gets diaper free time. Your wood floor will survive, especially if you keep tabs on him and clean up pee right away. Put some desitin or whatever diaper cream you have. He doesn't need to go to a doctor for a rash. That's ridiculous. You don't sound like a very knowledgeable care giver.

The boy go to daycare 4 days a week. I only watch him every Thursday. I change his diapers but I was wondering why she telling me the same stuff that I told her last week? What had happened for the past 8 days? If she or the daycare keep changing her son diapers, put cream, some naked time at her house I'm sure the rashes is no more there.

She didn't give me any cream this morning! How can she forgot?

You written English is very poor, OP. Perhaps the mother didn't understand you.

If you have a small yard, you can take the poor little boy outside and let him run around without pants on.

I feel sorry for the little guy - both you and his mother sound awful. You should find something else to do to earn extra money, OP - please stop watching children.

The parent is neglecting her child. Let them go.

Wow...
I hope the child's mom reads this and fires your ass.

You are an awful person, OP, and should NOT be working with children at all. The poor little boy has no clue what his mother is paying you and should not suffer because you are such a cruel and ugly woman. Go get a job at McDonalds and try to work on your English -- just DO NOT work with children.

Changing his diaper every hour is a reasonable request.

Diaper off time is not- not at daycare which is essentially what you are doing.

If mom doesn't bring in the cream tell her you won't watch her kid. Period.

No, OP - the PP is not a moron. You are someone who should never work with children. The poor little boy with the rash deserves better care than what you are providing at any cost.

I just dont feel comfortable with naked boy running around my house. I am not comfortable with him to sit on my sofa or carpet with that rashes still on him. To clean up my floor in case he pee or poo is a lot of work.
