Nitpick your nanny. Anything she says, does, etc. Even petty stuff that you would never speak outloud. Im genuinely curious.

Nothing, our nanny is amazing and we count ourselves blessed

Our daughter's nanny is brilliant, calm, kind and so loving. DD is a polite and generous little girl ALL because of her nanny. DD is also an avid and early reader because her Nanny has been reading to her since she was seven days old!

Nothing to nitpick. I wish I had Nanny's patience, imagination and knowledge. I wish I could play the way that Nanny does, too.

Not a useful exercise for me. I can talk about the many ways in which I wish she was better, but it's more productive for me to think about the complete confidence I have in my kids' safety, her honesty, and her reliability.

I am so jealous of these comments as even though I am a damn good nanny who loves my charge, I am sure my MB and DB wouldn't say such wonderful comments as the ones above.

I only had one boss like that, and it was miserable. She really only did it when she was having a bad day (which was almost always). Figured out real quick she was just an unhappy person who had lots of mommy guilt and took it out on me and her husband. Stayed for three years despite because I loved the kids. Won't do that again, I think they are nanny number 19 right now (I was number 2).

The rest of my MB's have been great about trusting me. I try to stay aware enough to be able to read their body language if they don't approve of something, so I can ask how they wish for it to be done. Most of them are just happy it's getting done.
