Does order of interview matter - MB advice?

| I got a message from a family after seeing my profile. I had a phone interview and things went well. The mom wanted to check with her husband but they wanted to interview that week and early last week. I didn't hear from them so I messaged on Saturday. The mom messaged me back and I interviewed today. They told me they have already interviewed other nannies. I kind of feel like a last option since I qanat a first pick for last weekend. Our interview went well but I still don't know. Does interviewing other nannies before me mean they didn't like me? |

| It might, or it might just mean that the other nannies were more aggressive about setting up follow ups. If you think the interview went well, don't overthink it. Send a thank you note, keep looking in case it doesn't pan out, and hopefully either this or something else is the perfect fit. |

| Don't worry about it. We wound up hiring the last person we interviewed and I was not enthusiastic about at ALL during the interview. Four + years later and I'm thrilled with who we chose. |

| OP here. I got the job so I guess it didn't matter. They gave me an offer 3 hours after leaving the interview. |

| How would them interviewing other nannies mean they don't like you? They have to interview people to meet them before hiring. |
