I nanny for a family and stay with them. They just sprung it on me that for the next week they are having contractors in and need me to stay somewhere else. I dont know any one in the area and am unsure of what to do.
Any ideas? Is someone willing to take me in for a week? thanks |
They must legally give you 30 days notice. They can't just put you on the street. What's wrong with them? This is stupid. |
They need to provide you with a hotel room then |
Exactly. Just tell them. |
Contractors don't sleep over. |
Water and electricity could be cut off during renovations. OP, you are a live in and they are obligated to,pay for a decent, clean hotel room as it is their decision to inconvenience you. |
How inconsiderate of them to spring this on you last minute.
Since they agreed to take you in, then it is entirely on them to provide housing accommodations. I say they need to pay for your stay in a safe + decent hotel somewhere. |
How totally rude & inconsiderate of them.
They need to book you a room @Best Western then. Really. |
What do you mean when you say you "stay with them" are you a live in Nanny and this is your primary residence?
If that is the case they need to put you up in a hotel and provide you with transportation if you dont already have it. |
They should pay for your hotel, Airbnb. I am wondering where they are staying themselves. Why can't they accommodate for u in their first plans? |
