How much would you pay hourly for 40
hours / week plus time and a half overtime? In DC.

How many families do the children come from?

How old are they actually?

I'd think at least $30/hr. That's a ton of work.

3 families around 1 and 1/2

Well, anyone who takes that job on should get at least $30/hr for sure.

But as a parent I'm not sure I'd want that scenario. I'd rather pay $10-12/hr for a two family share, or less money for a daycare. I can't imagine a 3 family share being worth the hassles (kids included.)

I agree.

This board is very much against 3 family shares, so you likely won't get any good advice here.

I'm a nanny to triplets, so know the job is difficult but not impossible. Target your search to nannies who have experience with multiples and who like jobs that keep them busy.

Rates vary widely, but I'd say at least $25/hr.

You're ridiculous on all counts.

Three families? Don't do it.

Two families make a share; three makes the biggest headache you've ever had.
