Age difference for kids in nanny share?

| We are thinking of sharing a nanny with another family whose daughter will be 4 months younger than our son (girl will be 3 mos, boy 7 months) by the time the share starts. Is this workable, or will the age difference be an issue? |

| The kids are young enough that they are either too close or too far apart. 4-7 month gap is the worst. |

| I strongly disagree with 00:15. That age difference will be fine. If you feel like you would get along with the other family and you agree on important matters, go for it. |

We did a nanny share with a kid 2.5 years older than our daughter. It was great. Our daughter definately gets a lot from being with an older child. I did not worry about schedules or different nap cycles. The nanny had a plan and seemed to manage just fine. We were totally happy and stayed in the share until we moved 18 months later.
