My bosses have hidden nanny cams

And they constantly praise me for things I know they have seen on the nanny cam and I feel so proud they are so positive about my work with their son. Crossing my fingers for a really nice bonus on my 2 year anniversary!

If they let you know about the cameras, there's no issue. I actually prefer it, as that way they can reference the recording when my log says that twins collided at x time in y room, resulting on a bump on the front of Larlo's head and the side of Larla's face. When parents can doublecheck recordings, they can see what happened, and there's no cause for the parents to worry (and they can see all the incidents that I prevent). If they installed cameras without letting you know, that's a completely different issue.

I love that your MB and DB are pointing out the great things you're doing, even if they are things that they wouldn't have known without watching the recordings.

I strongly question the legality but moreso the morality of having a hidden camera in your bathroom, where people use the toilet. That is really fundamentally creepy of you.

I'm on the fence with this. I know my employers of multiple years have cams. They don't know I know. A part of me is insulted that they still haven't said anything. However, this last year their child has gotten aggressive and out of control, so I am glad they are there. The child swings on me, kicks me etc...if there is ever a question of anything, I like that I will be able to tell them to look back at their cams, because this child can get out of control and has bumped its leg, head etc while in these fits. I use it only bc I don't want to identify gender.

They should spend more time parenting and less time spying.
