Our nanny has been with us for about 2 months. Her birthday is next Saturday and I thought I should do/give her something? She has been with us for a very long time so I really don't know what she likes? |
I meant she hasn't been with us for a very long time |
Everyone likes cash? |
I think a gift card to target would be appropriate. Everyone needs something from there and also lives close to one. |
Nanny here. I would honestly just do a nice card and let the kids make or choose for her some kind of treat (e.g., cupcakes). Since she has only been with you for a short time, it doesn't really make sense to do a substantial gift card, and doing a small amount basically forces her to spend her own money at the establishment you choose. I think it makes more sense to just skip The actual gift for this year. |
If she's new, nothing or a card with $20-50 in it. Next year, the same or more. |
I would get a cake or cupcakes, a card and nice flowers. I'd also probably do 40-50 dollar gift card to Target or somewhere else. |
Either $50. or $100. cash in a card would be the most appreciated thing I'd imagine. |
Either a cash supplement or a gift card would be nice.
You guys sound like great employers to be so considerate and thoughtful. Not all bosses are created equal. |
