Homemade, varied by year. We use turtlenecks, sweats, flannel shirts, jeans and whatever we had handy to come up with something unique. My mother was struggling to put food on the table, there's no way she would have bought Halloween costumes. So we spent all of October brainstorming, trying things then perfecting costumes for the three of us. Sometimes we matched (3 musketeers), sometimes we coordinated (dog, cat, mouse), but we always did it together. I wouldn't have traded it for anything, even then.
