I second...the "Why not....??"

So just because someone isn't doing the full forty hour workweek means they should be automatically excluded from getting a raise for performance and dependability??

You're an idiot. COL increases whether you are part or full time. Ask for an annual increase and review, OP.

Do PT workers have no annual increase in costs of living?
I think not.

I work a second weekend job - maybe 23 hours max each week - and I just received a nice annual raise.

Of course part-time nannies - like part-time in any other field - get annual raises.

No more likely handled thru a bonus.

Do you like her and want to keep her? If so, you give her a raise. This comes under Common Sense 101.

We always have our MWF nanny a yearly bonus-generous one too because we loved her and didn't want her to leave us for a full time position!

PP - I misread, thought the question was about bonuses. Yes, we also gave ours a raise.

I've gotten raises in some positions and didn't get them in others. It's not really a deal breaker for me because at 10 or so hours a week it doesn't make that much of a difference.
