Recommended increase?

We live just outside the Beltway in Silver Spring. We have 2 kids now -- a 15 month old and a 3 year old. Next year, 3 year old will be in preschool 5 mornings a week and 15 month old will be in school 2 mornings a week. New baby scheduled to arrive (or rather, I'll go back to work) just as 15 month old starts preschool. Nanny currently paid $17.50/hour, we will give a raise in August to $18. What would you pay starting next January?

For three kids, if the majority of the time the nanny is watching two, I think you could stick with $19. Work out some rates on paper based on her responsibilities and blend them to get an overall rate for the day, but on the generous side.
