Evening pickup & aftercare - question for parents

I am trying to find daycare pickup and aftercare for a toddler for one hour per night. Has anybody been able to find this type of care successfully? Apart from this forum and care.com/sittercity, are there any other places I should try?

The daycare and our house are two blocks apart, in Potomac (near Cabin John Plaza). Does anybody have a nanny who leaves at 5/5:30pm that would be interested in picking up an extra hour of work per night? The daycare closes at 6pm. We would need care from 6-7pm, Monday to Friday, starting in mid-January. We're looking to pay $10 - $17/hr, depending on experience and skills. Have you asked any of the daycare providers if they'd be interested?

I have asked, but they all have families that they need to attend to after daycare. That's why I think a nanny that works for a nearby family would be ideal.

For only one hour you need to offer more like $20-25.
