Hi All,
I am a public school teacher interested in nannying this summer during our summer break. I would love to develop educational programs/trips for the children-- museums, libraries, etc. Really whatever the parents would like! I would love some advice on finding families that might be interested in something like that. Do people use resources like care.org? How could I get connected with families who would be interested in a summer nanny? I know it may seem early for this-- but I'm a planner
Thank you! |
| Care.com is a great resource but with your educational background you can (and should) apply with nanny agencies. Most agencies do summer and temporary placements. |

Make sure you use Care.com, not Care.org OP...That is something totally different trust me.
And I agree with the PP, with all of your experience I would skip over the online childcare websites and go straight to a reputable agency. You almost surely will get accepted by one and it won't cost you a dime. And you will certainly find better families through an agency as well. Good luck. |
