What time do parents come home?

What time do your charges' parents arrive home in the evening? Is it usually the mom who relieves the nanny or the dad? Wondering what the culture of DC working parents is like for those who employ nannies. TIA!

Dad hands off charge to me at 8:30AM... I hand off to Mom at 5:30PM... I chat with mom for about 5 or ten min.. and then go on my merry way.

Dh works from home with a few meetings requiring him to run out. I get home around 7:30 on a good day.

I arrive at 8 am
2 days a week MB works from home. On those days I go home at 5. The rest of the week 6

I work for two celebrities.

My hours vary on filming days. Some days either one or both are home and I can leave at 6 most days they can film until late.

My contract hours are 8-5 but I get relieved 15-20 minutes early most days because MB and DB build in time for traffic in their commute. About 2-3 times a month they run late and so I stay just a few minutes extra. If either parent is traveling then I come in early and stay late about 30 minutes.

For my current position MB works from home, so I'm relieved between 2:30-4 PM depending on what we've discussed the week before. In previous positions it was usually between 5:30-6 PM.
