Require nanny to be vaccinated?

For the last time: a private employer can absolutely mandate the employees be vaccinated. Companies and schools are doing it and have done it for years. You are the right to not get the covid 19 vaccine and I have the right to fire you.

You working for me is not a right.

You people under this thread are dead wrong for telling someone what to do with their body. First let me be clear I’m NOT anti-vac so on those grounds I do think you should let her go but, as far as the Covid vaccine goes YOU CAN STILL GET THE VIRUS EVEN IF VACCINATED so you being vaccinated doesn’t protect you and it won’t protect her. All this EUA vaccine does is help you not die if you do indeed contract the virus. I won’t pass up on a superb nanny just because she refuses to get vaccinated her body her choice. I still require mask wearing in my home even if the nanny is vaccinated and still take precautions.

No one is telling you what to do with your body! Don’t get the covid vaccine - your body your choice. But’s it my job and my choice to fire you.
