I would charge more just because you will be at home as this disrupts nanny's work with older kids and makes it a thousand times harder. Also, you know perfectly well that you asked the nanny to do things for the new baby long before you went back to work. Start the extra pay as soon as you get home and spell out EXPLICITLY what she will do for new baby.

The conversation was had quite some time ago and the "baby" is two years old. Our nanny is still with us and has gotten two raises since.
