I don't know any nanny who agrees to an unpaid lunch unless they are new and don't know better. If the nanny can't leave, she's on the clock.

Nanny here. I had a nanny job a few years ago where my youngest took a 2 hr plus long nap. I did my chores etc and afterwards did power yoga for about 30-hour. My mb had no issue with it seeing as how nannies usually work longer hours to accommodate the parents schedules and commutes. If I had to attempt going to the gym after getting off work nightly at 6:45 and going to work at 7:30 there'd be no way I could remain consistent with working out. She knew I showered in the guest room and didn't mine as long as I had the monitor with me and the house was locked up

I love showering at work! Makes me feel so refreshed ! Your husband sounds paranoid seriously...
