OP keeping your private life to yourself is fine, I'm very much the same. You don't have to go into details, but it's just very strange to not even tell your employers that you are married. What do you think they would think if they found out down the line? I think most employers would find it very weird and some would be very offended. |
I've learned to be a very private person because of past life experiences. Also I look super young and people have told me that I look too young to be married. Last month the librarian asked if I was a student at the middle school down the street! He was my boyfriend for so long. We have been together for 7 years. I just got used to 'boyfriend'. So I find myself saying boyfriend still. I usually stutter and then say husband. But I love the fact that I have a husband now and not a boyfriend. |
I also didn't tell my MB/DB that I am married! My MB/DB aren't even married! It’s nice to know there are others like me out there, we have been together for 6.5 years when we got married. I hear things like that a lot, and it’s hard to feel like you have to defend your decision. It really comes down to the fact that I love my future husband, and nobody can know how much other than me! I still struggle with feeling like people are judging though. Good luck OP. |
Completely agree with this |
You love your future husband....even though you're married? Put down the wine, honey. |
Do you not wear a wedding ring?
Sorry this is smelling like a troll. And if not a troll then a very immature person who probably should not be married. Seriously...you were just getting used to calling him your boyfriend and you got married? Are you 18? This has to be a troll. |
