My nanny share is ending (preschool came fast) and I would like to help my nanny find a new full time position. She is truly wonderful, I really care about her and I'd like her to be with a good family/families. Other than posting on DCUM, is there a good place to post a position for her? The issues are that she is spanish speaking (not great in english) and not legal to work. Spanish speaking nannies seem to be a dime a dozen in the DC area, but she is a cut above the rest. |
Eek. If she is not legal to work in the U.S., I wouldn't post anywhere besides Craigslist because you could get in hot water for hiring a nanny and paying her off the books.
You could recommend her to some friends/co-workers/church members perhaps? |
Put the word out on your neighborhood listserv. |
Pray she doesn't file for unemployment and get you caught for hiring her illegally. |
