Does the week start on Sunday or Monday? RSS feed

This might be a dumb question. I am not American but have lived here for 10 years and have APs now. I always count the new week from Monday and divide the hours up until Sunday (if applicable and no, AP does not work the whole weekend but may have Sat off and work again Sun evening, in all no more than 45 hours). My husband thinks this is wrong and I should start from Sunday. What do you all do?

I've never heard of starting on Sunday. It's always Monday til Sunday.

If you were an Ap, would you want your weekend off to include Sunday or not? If Sunday starts new week then it's confusing for everyone on how to count it. Just do what everyone else does and count the week Monday to Sunday so it's clear.

I've always done Sun-Sat-- because that's what my calendar looks like.

But, we usually use all 45 Mon-Fri, so how the weekends are divided up has never been an issue for us.

I don't think it matters at all, as long as you are consistent. Our APs almost never work on a Sunday, when they do we start the week on Sunday.

I pay on Fridays, so my week goes from Sat-Fri.

Everyone is different.

We do Monday-Sunday for the sake of AP. That means Fri night to Sun end of day are the weekend.

We pay on Fridays. No particular reason, we just do.
