Nanny changes during the day RSS feed

Anonymous
Our nanny works long hours for us, usually 12-14 hours a day, 5 days a week...

We recently increased her hours. She comes in at 5am and leave between 5 and 7pm. Since increasing her hours she has been coming in, in yoga pants and a tshirt and changing around 8am into regular clothes (I can see on the nanny cam that she goes to the bathroom and changes).

Should I be upset? Isn't this a little ridiculous, that she can't come totally prepared in the morning?

You are the only ridiculous thing here.

Most transparent trolling attempt ever.

Yoga pants and T-shirt is my regular nanny clothes.

Enough with the trolls.

What do you pay her, OP, for raising your child?

Not a troll and 18 per hour, 23 for overtime.

Same here. Always yoga pants and various long-sleeved tops (NF cranks the AC to near freezing!) All nice, clean and in good shape (not worn or stained).

The on,y crime here is that you are having your nanny work 12-14 hours a day. That is insane.

OMG. If your nanny is working 12-14 hrs a day (reliably) for you then let her wear anything that's clean and presentable.

And be prepared to have her burn out on you fast. That is an absurd regular workload.

Agreed. At this point, that child is no longer really yours. Perhaps you want to remedy that. Or maybe you simply have other more important priorities, in which case, the nanny is essentially functioning as the parent. She can wear what she wants to wear.

Just fire her now. Give her the chance of working for someone who isn't crazy.

Signed an MB who would seriously be reevaluating things if my kids' nanny worked 12-14 hr days 5 days a week

Why are we responding to these BS posts? If you stop posting on the posts that are so OBVIOUSLY FAKE, eventually the pathetic trolls will stop.

They're posting for the same reason you are. Duh.

I recognize that you are most likely a troll, but my response carries over to pretty much all of the stupid little nitpicky posts on here from parents. If what she is doing doesn't affect you, your kid, your home, or her performance let it freaking go. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if she changes mid day. It doesn't matter if she doesn't wash your coffee cup. It doesn't matter if she exercises during her only bit of down time. It doesn't matter if she has a piercing or a tattoo. It doesn't matter. What matters is that your child is loved and cared for, and that you have a reliable employee doing the job you need done.
