Im thinking about getting an Asian Au pair. How do you think?

I like Asian couture but most Asian au pair cant speak English very well. Do you think its will be any problem?

Our Thai ap had a good grasp of English, but the first few weeks definitely were about learning each others accents.

Bonuses of our Thai ap - she didn't drink, she didn't party, she was very calm with our baby and toddler and she was very focused on taking classes.

This is no different than you all judging Germans on driving ability or Swedish APs on promiscuity.

Well, racist.
They speak broken English because they know other languages. It's modern era, internet age.
Most Asian speak many languages, even Chinese has so many accents.
But I assure you that they will learn fast, English is pretty easy from them if they use it on regular basis.

My money is on this being an Asian au Pair wanting to know what Hfs think. We think that first and foremost, you should try to make a sentence that reads as though its written by an English speaker.
