Interexchange?

Can anyone give me any insight into Interexchange as an agency? A candidate we really like is with them, but I know they're not that big in this area.

There are a bunch of host moms on aupairmom who swear by interexchange. They raised the point, which I think is well worth taking, that it kind of doesn't matter about the size of the cluster anymore, as au pairs now connect via Facebook not just through their clusters. We will certainly consider them next time around.

We are with InterExchange and I have been very happy with their services. We started with them 6 years ago and cose them based on recommendations from two other friend HMs. What I like the best is that my LCC has been a coordinator for over 20yrs and truly believes in the program. She was also a host mom before. I have also not found any cheaper agencies out there. It is a non-profit, and they consistently come almost $1000 cheaper than APC (and way less than CC). Finally, I was told they have big pool of French candidates, which is what we are looking for. I can't say that I have found their selection wider or better than other agencies, and their online search features are not as good as some of the competitors, but the staff is super helpful and personable and can work personally with family to select candidates. I have personally mostly done pre-matching though, and they have also been very helpful with helping my pre-match navigate the registration.
