How many days is two weeks of vacation?

Is it 10 days or 14 days? I want to use one week and go on vacation Tuesday to Tuesday, but that is actually 6 days. It has not been specified in my contract.

It's generally the number of hours you work per week multiplied by 2.

Depends on the job. For me it would be 14 as I work 7 days a week.

Depends on your schedule. It is, quite obviously, the number of days in a normal week times two. If you're a Monday to Friday nanny, then taking off Tuesday through the following Tuesday is six days total out of ten allowed.

Even if it was 14, that would be 8. Either it's two weeks including the weekends, or two weeks not including the weekends. You can't magically turn weekends into weekdays to come up to 14 weekdays = two weeks!

What are your work days/weeks? For most jobs it's a M-F job, so two weeks of vacation equals 10 paid days off.

With that scenario what you're describing would require 6 vacation days. You could take two mondays off instead and still use only 6 vacation days but have two full weekends and it would feel like a longer break.
