Where is the best place to find a part-time nanny to help with pick up and after school/ after camp hours? College job boards? Sitter city? Any thing I should do to make the job more or less enticing? I tried to do a search and apparently my search terms weren't too great, so forgive me if this is a frequently asked question. I don't come on this board often. My kids are 2 and 5. |
What exactly do you want her to do? And what can you afford per hour? |
OP here - I'd like her to pick up kids from school and walk home with them. Help with meal prep (mostly warming up pre-made meals). I think we'd probably need about 10 hours per week, but we could up it if that would help to get someone - I know that 10 hours isn't very much. |
Ask your high school sitters for recommendations. Maybe a senior HS student. Offer 15/hr. |
We were in a situation like this and had to add hours. For the additional hours, their is light housekeeping involved-kids laundry, keeping things neat. I ended up liking having extra help. |
