| I'm the post below yours with the mad Mb, but last year when dc2 was a baby, she got me a single red rose from him because, as she said, I am dc's favorite person mon-fri and he clings to me when I'm here. It sounds corny but it just made my day. |

I'd love to give a spa gift card, but i'm not sure it would go very far (under $25)? plus i'm not sure she would even appreciate it. i'm not sure it's something that is part of her culture, and she has young children so i know she prob would rather the money she can use pragmatically? i'd love to give a gift card instead of cash though. |

| in all my years, I've only had a couple kids give me anything, both were last year. One was a homemade Valentine and one was a boxed Valentine. I loved both andthought it was. really nice they thought of me on a non holiday. really op, anything would be fine...simple card, homemade sugar cookies, while foods gift card, whatever. |
